On 2, February 2018 Team Assembled at 90 Ft Road, Srinagar where from they proceeded towards Waliwar Lar. We trekked 15 kilometers uphill with 2 ft snowy Trail for 4-5 hours to reach Laar Marg meadow . Mohand Marg, known colloquially in Kashmiri as Mohana Marg is a meadow located on top of koaihama range overlooking Sindh valley and north Kashmir. In the early 19th century, A British explorer Sir M.A Stein considered it as his home. Sir M.A Stein regularly came to this place during summer time. He spend his twelve years from time to time in a tent at the meadow. Establishing its camp in the solitude of the meadow he translated Rajtarangi from Sanskrit into English.The aim of the trek was to take a short break from the city life and enjoy the nature at its pure form and walk to the Snow Covered meadow to test your legs.
